Solutions to failures in use of coil roofing nails

In the process of using coil roofing nails, nail jams often occur. We can analyze the reasons and solve them from several aspects.

1. Curved due to abrasion of the nailing surface of the firing pin. Then immediately replace with a new firing pin assembly

2. The nail caps are small and thin due to the non-standard coil nail caps. Then check whether the size of the coil nail matches the nail gun or change the coil nail test

3. Because there is no corresponding length and adjustment nail plate degree when installing nails. Re-correspond to the length of the coiled nails, adjust the scale on the nail groove degree or check whether the coiled nails are jammed

4. Due to the low air pressure, the firing pin did not completely return to the gun nozzle. Then check whether the pressure of the air compressor is normal, and the normal pressure is 6-8kg. Whether the air pipe is too long (more than 20m), and whether the air pipe is too thin, causing the flow of the air source to be too low. It is recommended to use 8*12 specification air pipe.

5. The nail gun is short of oil or there is debris in the nailing tray, and the nails cannot be delivered normally. Then unplug the air source, add a suitable amount of lubricating oil from the air inlet, and then connect the air source for a few air tests or open the nail tray to check whether the O-ring inside is normal and clean.
